Global Crossing Adds Peering

Add Global Crossing to the growing list of Peering Fabric type of companies. Ipeerex, Xconnect, Stealth Communications and others.

One has to wonder if Level3, AT&T and Verizon will also all start offering this too.

One things for sure, when calls stay on net, the costs drop, and when they peer over the same carrier, the costs go to almost nothing. As a result if everyone can cross peer with one another costs go way down, so why will anyone need Skype?
