Skype™ Annual Fee

It seems that the big colossus Skype™ (an eBay property) will introduce an annual fee rate of 30 dollars to permit to make calls over landlines phones and cellphones without limits.
For now the offer is limited to United States and Canada and it will start from January 2007, let’s hope that this offer will be extended also for Europe and other Countries. Surely the various phone companies will have something to speak about… or they will counterattack offering something similar.
I have to say that 30 dollars is the "tax" that italians pay every two months to italian Telecom just for having the phone line!
