Is Any Other Company Looking to Compete?

nokiaMaybe it is just good PR. Maybe is just good strategic positioning. More than likely it is both, with a sprinkle of vision. Whatever it is, Nokia, in my view is the king of mobile VoIP. Everyday it seems I see a release, a story, or a new phone that talks about Nokia and mobile VoIP. Today, WiFiMobile launched a Mobile VOIP service on the Nokia S60 handsets which enables users to make free calls to each other over Wi-Fi regardless of location.

I wonder when the rest of the cellular and smartphone manufacturers are going to wake up and smell the future.
