smackWhile some of you might not appreciate my reference to one of the funniest Dave Chapelle skits, all of you will appreciate the story Tom Keating has uncovered on how Nortel laid the smack down to a former Nortel subsidiary who choose a Fonality solution over a Nortel one, then approved a press release stating this fact. As I covered previously, BLADE Network Technologies, a former subsidiary of Nortel, selected Fonality’s award-winning PBXtra(tm) over a comparable system from Nortel.

What has followed this release is purely comedic and I could never do it justice, so you’ll just have to head over to Tom’s blog for the whole story.
