TeleBlend Moves In for SunRocket Customers Too

Source: www.voip-news.com

TeleBlend, a broadband phone service provider, announced today that they are willing to take on floundering SunRocket customers as they look for shelter in the storm of SunRocket going belly up.  First Vonage, then Packet8 and now TeleBlend.  With over 200,000 customers looking for a new service provider, it’s no wonder that the competition is lining up to offering their assistance.

TeleBlend is run by USA Telephone and has been in business since 1999.  As the other telco companies promise, former SunRocket customers can keep their current number if they decide to migrate over to TeleBlend.

“The past week has been an unfortunate and difficult period for SunRocket customers, and our focus has been to ensure service continuity and minimize the disruption this event has had on their lives,” said Martin Pichinson, principal and founding partner of Sherwood Partners, LLC. “The management teams of TeleBlend and USA Telephone have worked aggressively to put a system in place to provide a seamless transition for SunRocket customers in the short term, and a robust and reliable broadband phone service alternative for the long term.”

Mr. Pichinson added, “The Assignee for SunRocket determined that a plan to ensure service continuity for the customers was the most important focus and we are pleased that TeleBlend and their industry professionals were able to quickly respond to the needs of SunRocket customers.”

“We believe today’s announcement can go a long way in not only restoring service for customers, but also in restoring their faith in the VoIP category,” said Michael Morrison, General Manager for TeleBlend. “By teaming with seasoned telecom industry executives at USA Telephone, we have in place the scalable infrastructure and support necessary to offer residential and small business consumers a compelling broadband phone service solution.”

New sign-ups will enjoy a monthly rate of $12.95 for the amount of time they had left on their SunRocket contract.  Visit http://myTeleBlend.net/ for more details.
