Betamax Launched VoipWise with Free Unlimited Calls to 35 Countries

Without even allowing the dust to settle on the launch of nonoh betamax has gone ahead to launch another voip application nicknamed VoipWise. Apart from the name and GUI colour scheme there is no much difference between voipwise and other previous betamax clients. I like the name voipwise because it kind of saying you should be wise when you use betamax voip products, which is what i have been telling my readers along. Betamax voip applications still have the lowest rates in the voip market and the voice quality is great on broadband connection but the lack of customer support and the ever changing list of free destinations is allways a cause for concern.
To use voipwise you need to download the application from www.voipwise.com, install it and register for a username. Note that all the usernames you have used for other betamax products will not work because they use essential thesame server for all the applications. What i normally do now is to add the name of the application to my username for example my username in voipwise is solokayvoipwise in this way i dont run out of usernames that i can easily remember. Installion and use of voipwise is really ease and straightforward much like all other betamax products. The following countries call be call absolutelly free: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada,Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Greenland, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands
New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Singapore, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States.
Also voipwise enables users to send free sms to all the destinations listed above and both phone and sms rates to other destinations are quite low. Above all, from my experience with betamax products i will like to list below my advise as to how to use betamax products wisely:

  • 1. Never choose a betamax product only because of free destinations alone. Use a betamax product that have some of your destinations as free and some at low rates. In that case if your free destinations are removed you can still use your credit to the paid ones you really want to call.
  • 2. Dont switch too soon because of some new free destinations. Let the dust settle before you switch, in that case you will know which destinations betamax really want to offer for free in the new application
  • 3. Use direct callback instead of PC-to-phone. Quality is always better. Five cent per call is not too much to pay in order to guarantee good quality
  • 4. Use forums like voippark etc and blogs for support, betamax has no customer support. Dont even border to send them e-mail. Maybe this will change in the future nobody can tell.

Using these as my guide, i have been using betamax products for more than three years now without complain. If you have other ideas as to how to better use betamax products dont hesitate to share it with us here. Have fun making those FREE calls!.
