eTel Cancelled

Source: andyabramson.blogs.com

The folks at O’Reilly have cancelled the planned 2008 eTel that was slated for next March in San Diego.

This may have something to do with Surj Patel, one of the minds behind it, deciding to pursue other opportunities. Or it can just mean that their eTech conference will have some VoIP in it…

I have to hope that they do that because eTel 2007 was one of the best conferences of the year hands down in VoIP.
