Microsoft Launches UC 2007, Released Unified Communications Client API (UCCA) SDK

Source: solokay.blogspot.com

Microsoft has released its much anticipated Unified Communications Client API (UCCA) SDK. The UCCA is to empower its user to build client applications for Office Communications Server 2007. According to Microsoft, the API can be used to integrate Office Communication server 2007’s VoIP, video, instant messaging, conferencing, telephoning, contact management and presence functionality into various applications.
The UCCA works as much as the Communicator does and it can perform functions of the RTC 1.3 SDK and at the same time add vista support. In a similar development, the Unified Communications 2007 will be released come October 16 (Tuesday) in San Francisco and the occasion will be graced by the biggest names in the industry, Bill Gates and Deff Raikes. It promises to be a great event since the launch is a world wide application; the UC from Microsoft is to equip developers with necessary components that will enable them to perform effectively.
