INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPO East 2008 Will Offer TMC University’s SIP Certification Course for Service Providers

Source: snapvoip.blogspot.com

NORWALK, Conn.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC), in conjunction with Dialogic (www.dialogic.com), announced today that their TMC University division will offer SIP Certification Courses at INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPO East 2008 in Miami, Florida. The daylong course, which includes a 30-minute certification exam, will be held Wednesday, January 23rd, day one of the three-day conference.

Titled, ‘SIP: The Foundation for Building Enhanced Services’, this TMC University course offers six individual training sessions teaching service providers how to use SIP to create profitable enhanced services they can roll out to new and existing subscribers.

TMC has partnered with Dialogic, a leading provider of open systems platforms to both enterprise and service provider markets, to build the comprehensive curriculum for TMC University.

According to TMC President and conference chairman, Rich Tehrani, TMC University is the only independent program of its kind. And this new SIP certification course is an overdue addition to the series.

“We are especially excited to offer a course which will allow graduates to create better SIP applications which will in-turn help drive service provider growth,” said TMC president Rich Tehrani. He continued, “We believe the opportunity exists for service providers to increase stickiness and ARPU by delivering applications which empower their customers.”

“Since its inception, TMC U has focused on bridging the gap as technologies emerge from their “early adopter” phase and enter the mainstream,” added Jeff Dworkin, Dialogic’s Marketing Manager and Advisory Chairman for TMC University. “With hundreds of graduates for IP PBX 101 and 201 courses, we have demonstrated that there is real need to help Integrators and End Customers understand how to leverage technology to solve real world business problems and generate bottom-line profit. We are sure that the course content presented here will fill that need for this market and the Developers, Integrators and ISVs that serve it.”
