Having experienced both SightSpeed and Skype last week on my Logitech 9000 Pro webcam last week on my lightly used Windows Media Center on a Dual Core 2 Vista platform at the house, I was simply feeling left out on the Mac for what one could consider great video quality.

Well now Macintosh users like me won’t feel that way as Logitech has come out with a webcam for the Mac side of the universe that gives us the same potential capability and potential for high definition video.

With a renewed effort at Skype on the Mac and Linux platforms under Jonathan Christensen their approach to Mac will only get better. SightSpeed already is looking very good with their new release. Even in low light conditions they are showing me that the team in Berkeley is really understanding optics and compression.

This new webcam is a big plus to the Logitech line up and come July, will be on my MUST BUY list.
